VANJ Conference 2020 (VANJ 2020) – organized by the Vietnamese Academic Network in Japan (VANJ) – is a multidisciplinary platform for science and technology exchange events with the participation of scientists, researchers, and intellectuals. Following the success of previous events, such as the Vietnam Japan Scientific Exchange Meetings (VJSE2017, VJSE2018, co-organized with VYSA), Vietnam – Japan Science and Technology Symposium (VJST2019, co-organized with Vietnam Japan University), Vietnam Summit in Japan 2019 (co-organized with VPJ, VYSA), VANJ 2020 welcomes all the scientists, researchers, experts, and intellectuals to jointly participate and discuss on various aspects of science and technology. With high-quality and in-depth scientific content, VANJ 2020 also aims to promote active research collaborations between Vietnam and Japan. This year, as the COVID-19 is deeply affecting all countries and people over the world, one of the important focus points of VANJ 2020 is navigating the way to realize safe and secure lives for people and stable economic growth in the “New Normal” of the post-corona era, in light of science and technology. Participants of this conference are mainly researchers from Japan and Vietnam, but researchers from other regions are warmly welcome.
